Calling for School Association Members
We are seeking new members for our School Association Committee! Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 25th March.
The School Association brings together staff, parents, and the community with the shared goal of providing the best education for our students. This committee plays a vital role in shaping school policy, setting priorities, and developing strategies. It’s about more than just fundraising—it’s about:
- Supporting school improvement
- Representing parent voices in school policy
- Collaborating with staff and the community to enhance student learning
We encourage all interested parents and community members to get involved!
Reinvigorating Our School Values Rewards
In Week 6, we will be refreshing our school values rewards. With many new staff members this year, we have taken a phased approach to ensure everyone feels confident in implementing our strategies.
Students who meet and exceed expectations in Respect, Courage, and Connection will be invited to special excursions. To attend, school validation forms must be signed and returned to the office by the end of Term 1.
Need help with forms? Copies will be available, and staff will be available to assist during our Athletics Carnival on Friday.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
Warm regards,
Tobin McColl
NAPLAN tests will be completed from Wednesday 12 March - Monday 24 March, 2025 for students years 3 and 5. NAPLAN is just one aspect of a school’s assessment and reporting process. It does not replace ongoing assessments made by teachers about student performance, but it can provide teachers with additional information about students’ educational progress.
Should you require further information about NAPLAN please contact your Child’s Teacher, or Mr Mills at school on 62637843
Unfortunately we still have a number of validation forms that have not been returned to the office. These forms are highly important to be returned to ensure the correct contact details are on file in case of emergencies. These forms also include photo and excursion permissions. If you are unsure if you have completed your childs validation form please contact the office.
Students that are diagnosed with Asthma are to have updated Asthma plans. These plans are to be brought into the office along with appropriate medications. It is important that Asthma plans are up to date incase of emergencies. Any questions or queries please feel free to come and have a chat to your childs teacher or the office.
