How Time Flies!

It’s hard to believe we’re already in Week 7! This week, we’re completing our final reading screenings for 2024, and we are thrilled with the growth our students have made this year. Their achievements are a true testament to their hard work, supported by the dedication of our staff. This progress is something to celebrate, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far everyone has come.

We are dedicating significant time to ensuring we get our class lists just right. In the coming weeks, we will announce class placements and the teachers for each group. In the meantime, if there’s anything specific you’d like us to consider about your child, please let us know as soon as possible. Once these class lists are finalised, we won’t be able to make changes.

Swimming Success!

Our interschool swimming team represented Herdsmans Cove Primary with pride, achieving a fantastic victory in the Division H interschool swimming carnival! Congratulations to all the students who participated—you did an amazing job! A huge thank you goes to Miss P, our staff, and our volunteers for making this event such a success.

Congratulations to the following students for representing Herdsmans Cove Primary School at the Division H interschool swimming carnival held on Wedensday 13 November:

Kobee, Will, Eli, Kade, Kaycee, Sylah, Malayah, Shayla, Natalia, Jett H. Cooper, Jhett D, Dakotah, Billi, Stella, Josh, Blaze, Jaxyn, Annalise, Scarlett and Zilah.

Our team swam consistently well in all events and as a result came in first place.  A big congratulations to both Cooper and Annalise for making the upcoming Champions Carnival tomorrow.

Thank you to Miss P, Miss Lovell, volunteers and all the parents for supporting our team on the day.

Congratulations to our Children's University students who graduated at a ceremony at the University of Tasmania last Tuesday.

Thank you to parents for supporting their children throughout the year by taking them to extra activities outside regular school hours and to Miss Lovell and Ms Burn for orgainising extra activities throughout the year.
