Principal's Message
Welcome Back to Term 4!
It’s hard to believe we’re here already! With the weather warming up and UV levels on the rise, it’s crucial that all students wear a hat during recess and lunch. Students without hats will need to sit in the shade to stay sun-safe. A variety of hats are available for purchase from our uniform shop for just $10.
Bike and Scooter Safety
For students riding bikes or scooters to school, safety is our top priority. All students must wear a helmet and are required to put their bikes and scooters away by 8:30 am. This rule is in place to prevent collisions, as students are coming out of classes and putting their bags away at this time. Unfortunately, we’ve seen some instances where students continue riding around buildings, creating potential hazards. Students who are unable to meet these safety standards will be asked to leave their bikes or scooters at home. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe.
Looking Ahead: Class Structures for 2025
We know many families are keen to know about class structures for 2025. We will be sharing this information with you soon, so please keep an eye out for updates.
Swimming Carnival Success
A big congratulations to all students who participated with such enthusiasm in our recent swimming carnival! It was fantastic to see everyone representing their houses with pride and demonstrating excellent sporting behaviour.
Focus on Reading and School Values
This term, our commitment to fostering a love for reading and our school values—connection, respect, and courage—continues. We look forward to sharing the incredible growth achieved from our new reading approach with you toward the end of the term.
Here’s to a successful Term 4 together!
Warm regards,
Tobin McColl, Principal
