Last Thursday, 2/3 and 4/5 went on an excursion to Richmond.

First, we went to the model village of old Hobart town. This is a miniature model of what Hobart looked like 200 years ago. In our groups, we did a scavenger hunt around the model. The winners won a bag of lollies. We had a great time here.

Next, we walked to the Richmond Bridge which is the oldest bridge in Australia. Jett worked out that next year it will turn 200 years old! There were lots of ducks that wanted to eat our recess.

After that, we went to the park where we played and ate ice cream from the Lolly Shop. It was so delicious and Ruby got really bad brain freeze!

Finally we walked back to the bus to head back to school. We want to say a big thank you to Ms Hedge, Miss Jo and Kelly for all their help. We loved our trip to Richmond!
