Some students from Years 3-6 represented the school by attending Government House to participate in their garden to plate day. These students have displayed outstanding participation in our Kitchen Garden classes. At Government House the students had a tour of the house and gardens. Other activities on the day included planting cucumbers and tomatoes in the new polytunnel and cooking with seasonal fruit and vegetables. Some highlights were:

Braxton: My favourite thing was the tour.

Molly: Today I learnt how to make carrot cake balls and the garden was lovely.

Summer: The garden was so beautiful and I had an amazing time.

Ashton: I liked cooking with the chefs.
